Veranda’s recreation center, The Cottage House, is the place to make friends, work out or take classes. Residents can also join clubs, and enjoy wine tastings and special events coordinated by our full-time Director of Fun.

A day of water play is just down the street at The Cottage House family-friendly pool, where little ones can splash at the water’s edge and older swimmers can zip down slides or challenge themselves climbing the in-the-water rock wall.

There are no more excuses for getting in shape when there’s a well-outfitted fitness center on-site. Work on cardio, lift some weights, take a fitness class that offers a total body workout — or do it all!

The perfect perch in Veranda is our giant rocking chair — a popular setting for fun family photos and Instagram-worthy shots!

Our littlest residents aren’t out of their depth at the Kids Splash Zone where gentle bubblers gurgle at the beach entry and an in-the-water play structure offers short slides and other spray features in shallow water.

Enjoy a romantic picnic in a lush green field, fly kites with friends under the bright blue sky or watch the kiddos imagine their way through one of our fun-filled playgrounds.

Our spacious event lawn offers a blank canvas family bonding, friendly competitions, neighborhood-wide celebrations, and community festivities.

Morning jogs, evening strolls and adventurous bike rides abound. Our beautiful winding trails are just another perk of the vivacious Veranda lifestyle.

Yogis can feel like warriors as they do their sun salutation, tree pose and downward facing dog at the Veranda Yoga Lawn. It’s the namaste to a perfect day.

The massage suite is one of the most “ahhh-some” features of The Cottage House, allowing residents to schedule a relaxing massage at their convenience. 

Zoom down a twisting tunnel slide to splash into a dedicated pool or take a more relaxing ride gliding down a winding open-air slide. Repeat. It’s how we have fun here in Veranda.

Day or night you will love working on your backhand or mixing up doubles on our lighted tennis courts. Blue Heron Peacock Courts are located in Wild Blue Park, so after the game you can enjoy a post-game meal on picnic tables festooned with lights.

Our resident Fidos can’t muzzle their excitement when they get to play at Canine Cove. Dogs have plenty of room to unleash their energy with a beautiful pond and large and small dog areas. A washing station is available for easy clean-up after all the fun. Parents and pups have a great view of the playground next door where kiddoes can exercise their bodies and imagination.
